Governor Greg Abbott highlighted the significance of TPUSA Club America chapter participation in high schools across Texas during a recent event.
“There has been no moment in time during the course of this century when there was such an urgency and a need for an organization like TPUSA and Club America,” Governor Abbott said. “They have helped to restore moral clarity, constitutional principles, and our founding values. I am grateful for the young men and women behind me and their peers across the state for stepping up and identifying themselves as the future leaders of the Lone Star State.”
Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, TPUSA Senior Director Josh Thifault, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath, and other officials joined Governor Abbott at the event.
Governor Abbott acknowledged Charlie Kirk’s contributions to strengthening the conservative movement among youth nationwide. He noted that Texas leads all states in the number of Club America chapters and stated that Texas will support further growth of these chapters. The Governor also emphasized that any school obstructing a Club America program should be reported to the Texas Education Agency for investigation and possible disciplinary action.
Additional photos from the event are expected to be made available soon.
