Registration is now open for members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) to attend the 55th International Convention of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located at 265 Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia.

The CBTU Convention serves as a national gathering for trade unionists to discuss key labor issues. At last year’s convention, IAM members participated in workshops focused on organizing, conflict resolution, leadership development, building power within unions, and sharing strategies aimed at strengthening both their own organization and the broader labor movement.

A group room rate has been set at $185 per night plus taxes at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Attendees must reserve rooms by April 24, 2026, to secure this rate. A one-night deposit is required when booking but is refundable if canceled by April 15, 2026. After the deadline, reservations will be subject to availability and prevailing rates.

Hotel reservations can be made online using the official CBTU booking link or by calling 1-877-803-7534 and referencing CBTU. Online booking remains the preferred method.
