Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Ashley Morgan to the Texas Water Development Board. Her term will last until February 1, 2027. The board is responsible for leadership, planning, and providing financial and technical support for water development in Texas.

Ashley Morgan is an attorney at Erben & Yarbrough in Georgetown. She has previously worked for several state agencies, including the Office of the Governor, the Office of the Attorney General, the Railroad Commission of Texas, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and serves on the UT System Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee. Morgan also volunteers as a docent at the Governor’s Mansion and participates in the Stephen F. Austin Alumni Association.

Morgan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and holds a Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
