Governor Greg Abbott appointed Lynn Gravley to the University of North Texas System Board of Regents for a term set to expire on May 22, 2031, according to an April 13 announcement.
The appointment is part of the Texas Governor’s office’s ongoing efforts to provide leadership and services across the state. The office also advances cultural and social understanding through commissions supporting opportunities for women and people with disabilities, according to the official website.
Gravley is the founder and CEO of NT Logistics, Inc. He previously served as chairman of the Finance, Audit, and Administration Committee for the North Texas Tollway Authority Board of Directors after being appointed by Governor Abbott in 2018. He currently chairs both the Advisory Board for UNT G. Brint Ryan College of Business for Logistics & Supply Chain Management and the Transportation Intermediaries Association. Gravley’s community involvement includes serving as a deacon at Gunter Valley Church of Christ and previous roles with Gunter Independent School District’s board and foundation as well as Christian Care Centers’ board.
Gravley received his Bachelor of Arts from UNT. He was honored with its Distinguished Alumni Award in 2021 and inducted into the UNT College of Business Hall of Fame in 2025.
