Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Marsha Moberley to the Interstate Commission for Adult Offender Supervision. Her term will last at the discretion of the Governor. The Commission is responsible for establishing consistent procedures to manage how offenders under community supervision move between states. It also oversees individuals released to the community by courts, paroling authorities, or corrections agencies and creates rules to support these responsibilities.
Moberley, who lives in Lakeway, serves as board chair and was formerly a commissioner on the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. She brings over 28 years of experience in criminal justice. Previously, she was Chief Probation Officer for Deaf Smith and Oldham counties. She is involved with organizations such as the Association of Paroling Authorities International and the American Probation and Parole Association. She has also chaired advisory boards related to regional planning and chief probation officers in the Panhandle area. Moberley holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University.
