His previous experience includes work in the private sector at Newell Rubbermaid Inc., as well as roles with the Texas Department of Public Safety, State Senator Steve Ogden, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Lower Colorado River Authority, and former Governors Rick Perry and Greg Abbott. He also volunteers as a tennis coach at Thorndale High School and holds degrees from Texas State University and St. Edward’s University.
