Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Alicia Cantrell to the Family Practice Residency Advisory Committee. Her new term will end on August 29, 2028. The committee is responsible for reviewing applications for approval and funding of family practice residency training programs and related support initiatives for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Alicia Cantrell is from Houston and serves as chief operating officer of the Coalition Por For Texas. She studied at the University of Houston – Downtown.
