Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Cliff Bickerstaff and Erin Lunceford to two key state boards responsible for leasing land owned by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Their new terms will expire on September 1, 2027.
Cliff Bickerstaff, from Amarillo, will continue his service on the Board for Lease of Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Lands. He is currently executive vice president at Amarillo National Bank. Bickerstaff is also involved with several organizations, including serving as a member and former chair of the Amarillo Area Foundation, participating in the Texas Cattle Feeders Association’s Finance and Tax Committee, and sitting on the board of the Amarillo-Potter Events Venue District. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University.
Erin Lunceford, based in Houston, was reappointed to the Board for Lease of Texas Department of Criminal Justice Lands. She practices mediations and arbitrations through her firm Lunceford ADR, LLC. Previously, she served as Judge for the 61st Judicial District Court in Harris County. Lunceford is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and is recognized as a Medical Malpractice Specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Her professional affiliations include being a former board member of the Houston Bar Association and an associate member and past president of the Houston chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder and her Juris Doctor from the University of Houston.
The Boards for Lease are tasked with managing leases on lands owned by their respective departments.
