Governor Greg Abbott reappointed Manoranjan “Mano” Mahadeva to the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027, according to a Mar. 26 announcement. The council is responsible for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of Texans by supporting licensing and regulation of physical therapy and occupational therapy practitioners.
This appointment is part of ongoing efforts by state leadership to ensure oversight in professional healthcare services. The council also registers facilities that provide these therapies across Texas.
Mahadeva, who lives in Frisco, is the former CEO of the Millennium Physician Association. He holds memberships with several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. His community involvement includes serving as past president of both Plano Metro Rotary Club and Plano Early Lions as well as former board chair for Leadership Plano. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and an MBA from East Texas A&M University.
