Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Wil Faubel, Stephanie Johnson, and Rick Mora, M.D. to the San Jacinto River Authority Board of Directors. Their new terms will last until October 16, 2029. The San Jacinto River Authority is responsible for managing and protecting water resources in the San Jacinto River basin.

Wil Faubel of Montgomery is the senior business development and corporate advisor at Novomet USA Inc. He has over forty years of experience in the oilfield services industry, both domestically and internationally. Faubel is a lifelong member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a former board member of the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association. He also belongs to the Lake Conroe Association. Faubel holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.

Stephanie Johnson, also from Montgomery, is retired after a career in industrial engineering and operations with UPS. She previously worked as an executive search director at Richard, Wayne & Roberts. Johnson currently serves as president of the Ladies Association of Walden, treasurer of Walden Section 5 Homeowners Association, and secretary of the Walden Community Improvement Association. She is an act director with the Walden Follies and volunteers with Love Heals Youth and the Walden Social Network. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Lamar University.

Rick Mora, M.D., from Spring, works as an anesthesiologist and transitional medical director for Envision Health. He formerly served as chief of anesthesiology at Memorial Hermann Hospital of the Woodlands. Mora is a member of both the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He was chair of the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and helped found Los Doctores de The Woodlands, a non-profit organization. Mora received his Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature and pre-medicine from the University of California at Berkeley and his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He served eight years combined in the Army National Guard and Texas National Guard before receiving an honorable discharge.
