IAM air traffic controllers prepare for contract talks with Leidos

IAM negotiations team member Mark Costa, a flight service specialist, has described his role as providing essential weather and safety information to pilots. Costa represents Local 2010 in Reston, Virginia. He noted that his team, together with Local 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas, is getting ready for contract negotiations with the government contractor Leidos.

Costa said, “I am responsible for providing critical weather and safety information to pilots.” He added that both locals are preparing for upcoming talks with Leidos.

The preparations come as these air traffic control specialists look to address key workplace issues in their next contract discussions.
