As the year draws to a close, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant shared a holiday message with union members and their families. In his statement, Bryant recognized the contributions of IAM members across various industries and highlighted their role in maintaining essential services during the holiday season.

“I want to wish every IAM Union member and their families a joyful, safe, and meaningful holiday season. This is a special time – a moment to pause, to reflect, and to appreciate the people who make a difference in our lives,” said Bryant.

He acknowledged the dedication of union members working in sectors such as airports, railroads, shops, facilities, and other worksites that support daily life for millions. “Your talent and dedication keep this country running, even as others head home to celebrate. I see the sacrifice, the long hours, and the pride you take in your craft. It doesn’t go unnoticed,” he added.

Bryant also emphasized the importance of solidarity within the union: “The holidays also remind us that our union is more than contracts and negotiations – it’s a family. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other, and make sure no member stands alone. That spirit of solidarity is what makes the IAM Union strong, and it’s what gives me hope for the year ahead.”

He concluded by expressing gratitude for members’ efforts not only within their workplaces but also in their communities: “Thank you for everything you do, not just for our union, but for your communities and for working people everywhere. We are grateful for each and every one of you.”

On behalf of himself and the IAM Executive Council, Bryant extended wishes for peace and hope in the coming year.
