IAM Union members at Atlantic Aviation Teterboro have approved a new collective bargaining agreement that brings changes to wages, benefits, and working conditions. The contract was negotiated by IAM District 142.
The agreement includes wage increases for all levels and classifications, a $1,500 signing bonus, retroactive pay dating back to the contract’s expiration, premium increases, sick time buyback provisions, and improvements to vacation accrual. It also addresses surveillance language, progressive discipline language, and shift language.
“This agreement reflects the power of union solidarity and the commitment of our members at Atlantic Aviation TEB,” said IAM Air Transport Territory General Vice President Richie Johnsen. “This contract was won by the hard work, unity, and determination of our membership.”
The IAM District 142 team plans to work with company leadership to make sure the terms are understood and carried out as agreed.
“This contract delivers meaningful economic gains and important workplace protections,” said IAM District 142 President and Directing General Chair John M. Coveny, Jr. “It’s what our members fought for and what they have more than earned.”
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers has stated its continued commitment to supporting its members through collective action and strong contracts.
