Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will host its second annual Runway to Opportunities event on February 10, 2026. The session aims to connect prime contractors with businesses interested in participating in the airport’s Journey With AUS expansion program.

The event is intended to help subcontractors learn how to engage with large-scale construction projects at the airport and build direct relationships with major contractors. According to organizers, attendees will hear presentations from firms currently working on significant airport projects, receive updates on ongoing and upcoming construction activities, and gain insights into the overall direction of the expansion initiative.

Practical guidance on doing business with both the City of Austin and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport will also be provided. The agenda includes structured networking opportunities for subcontractors to ask questions, explore potential collaborations, and establish connections that could lead to future work.

Prime contractors scheduled to participate include Austin Commercial, Hensel Phelps, JE Dunn, and Sundt / Archer Western. The event will take place at the Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA), located at 3100 Alvin Devane Blvd, Building B in Austin.

Registration information is available online for those interested in attending or learning more about involvement opportunities.
