Individuals who want to manage their real estate or appraiser licenses in Texas will now need to set up an account on the Real Estate and Appraiser License Management Portal (REALM Portal). According to the Texas Real Estate Commission, this portal is required for those seeking to handle licensing matters, apply for new licenses, or file complaints.

The commission stated that license holders will receive an activation email with details on how to create their accounts. Those holding multiple licenses, registrations, or applications may get several emails. Each message contains a State ID or PIN Number needed to connect all records under one REALM Portal account.

A brief instructional video has been made available by the commission to help users begin the setup process.
