The Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) is reminding license applicants and current license holders that agency fees can be paid securely online through its services portal. The online payment tool allows users to pay for new licenses, renewals, business entity registrations, and other fees at any time.

The commission recently updated its payment page in August 2025 to enhance the security and user experience of the process. Users are guided through a series of steps that begin with an introductory page, followed by questions specific to their transaction. On the Payment Information page, users have the option to enter an email address to receive a receipt; otherwise, no receipt will be sent.

Visual guides and a short instructional video are available on the TREC website to assist with each step of making payments online. The process starts from the Quick Start Menu where users select their required payment type, answer relevant questions, confirm information, and proceed to payment once all details are certified.

For security reasons, TREC staff cannot accept financial information over the phone or complete payments on behalf of users. Those who need help with the online system are encouraged to contact TREC directly for assistance.
