The U.S. Census Bureau announced on March 19 the launch of USA Trade Online: Reimagined, marking a transition from the legacy USA Trade Online platform.

USA Trade Online has been a primary resource for accessing trade data for nearly thirty years. The updated version maintains access to the same trade data but introduces a modern and more intuitive interface designed to improve user experience.

With the new platform, users are no longer required to create an account to generate or save reports. Instead, reports can be saved using just an email address, removing the need for password management. Additional features include enhanced navigation by consolidating all report selections onto a single screen, simplified report-sharing capabilities with improved collaboration tools, and redesigned report management that allows custom tagging and dataset filtering options.

The Census Bureau advises users who have saved reports on the legacy platform to recreate and save them in the new tool before the older version is decommissioned by June. A user guide is available for those seeking more information about navigating the updated system.

The introduction of this new tool reflects ongoing efforts by the Census Bureau to streamline access to trade data and support efficient data analysis for its users.
